I remember a time when I was working 40+ hours a week, living in the apartment of my dreams, had a loving boyfriend, and supportive friends... yet I cried myself to sleep most nights.
I felt so alone and misunderstood.
I judged myself for not being able to feel happy. After all, I was blessed, so how could I be so depressed.
What I did not understand then, was that my body was holding on to so much pain, anger, and fear. This pent up energy was resulting in what we call anxiety. After losing my job, my relationship, my apartment, my car, and many friendships, I experienced what felt like the death of self.
It was at this point in my journey that I decided to dedicate the rest of my life to understand two concepts:
death and peace
I eventually discovered breath work which became a vital tool for my emotional and mental awareness. Not only was I able to discover the pain and anger I was holding on to, but more importantly breath work meditation offered an outlet to release this energy out of my body.
The many years of self discovery eventually led me to becoming a teacher and life coach in breath work and meditation. During our upcoming session, I will be guiding you through a series of different breathing exercises to help release tension, stress, and anxiety from the nervous system.
